The NEW NORMAL – for now

Vehicle

Clean areas that you come into contact with the most. Such as your inside and outside door handles, keys and key fob, steering wheel, dashboard, seat belts, gear shifters, blinkers, touchscreens. Use disinfecting wipes to clean areas or vehicle’s recommended microfiber clothes daily. Wear protective gloves when touching the gas pump handles and keypads at gas stations. Clean your hands before touching the inside of your vehicle in order to reduce the spread of germs. Wash hands before and after driving. Using hand sanitizer with at least 70% alcohol may be helpful.

Home

Clean and disinfect high touched surfaces, including door knobs, deadbolt locks and house keys with disinfecting wipes. Make sure batteries are in your alarm systems, where applicable. Wipe down your safes and keypads. Electronic devices, such as cellphones, computers and remote controls use disinfecting wipes or a spray that kills germs such as Lysol. Wash hands for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, often.

Public Areas

Wear gloves and facial masks, as recommended by your county, state and government officials. Continue implementing social distancing and washing your hands, especially when using public restrooms and keypads. Cover your mouth when coughing or sneezing.

The above also applies when traveling.
